Outcomes

The purpose of the forum is to begin to construct a Saskatchewan specific definition of street gangs through the use of a typology framework to address the root causes of street gang involvement, limiting the movement of individuals, groups, or cliques to increased levels of violence related to street economies.

Upon the conclusion of the forum, community engagement activities will be designed for further community collaboration.  A final report will be complied and submitted by August 31, 2018 to the participants of the forum as well as the Federal government and the Government of Saskatchewan to determine the development of a provincial gang strategy.
